Sonic & Mario team up success has confirmed the healthy side of competition and sportsmanship. Nintendo and Sega, had worked before during the F-Zero GX, and next-Gen platform development. The idea of the Mario and Sonic team up was result of meeting between Yuji Naka, and Shigru Miyamoto the design heads of Mario and Sonic in 2005. SEGA was the official gaming partner for the Beijing Olympics after they obtained license from International Olympics Committee. It provided the suitable backdrop of this collaboration.

In Boston scientists have created a contact lens that can deliver a high concentration of medicine at a constant rate for more than 30 days; and because the drug-containing part of the lens is doughnut-shaped, it won't interfere with vision. Presently 90% of eye medicine is in the form of eye drops, but doctors estimate that only 1%-7% of the medicine gets absorbed into the eye. The rest runs down the cheeks. Although this lens has only been lab-tested, animal testing is starting; and it's expected that the lens will make human contact by 2010.

Tarot cards spot their history back in the 14th century. Speculation denotes that they were founded in Islamic countries, but the fundamental historical news of them is when they were banned in the dominantly Christian area of Bern, Switzerland. Early tarot decks, anyhow, featured only sixteen trump cards, as compared to the twenty-one that are featured in twenty- first century decks.
